Our Newest Employee, Seth Apter!

We love--really LURVE--our friend and uber-talented artist, Seth Apter. So, when he sort-of-jokingly said he'd like to come work with us, we held him to his word and plunked him right in the middle of the week, right in the middle of the holiday season!

This Wednesday, Seth spent the afternoon "shift" in our shop; selling, unpacking and pricing new merchandise--he's a natural :-) He also gave an AH-MAZING demo on how to use the Spellbinder's Grand Calibur to make photo transfers!! (Who doesn't love photo transfers??!??)

In case you haven't heard, Seth is now on the blog team for Spellbinders and is experimenting with all kinds of cool techniques to incorporate their products into his mixed media work. We look forward to the coolness he's sure to come up with!!

After a long, hard day working in the "trenches" of retail, we're not sure you'd want to come back Seth...But if you do, we'll welcome you with open arms and in our best Trump, say "You're Hired!"

Bustin' a Charlie's Angels move with the pricing gun!

Not Merely a Meer Image...

It's a thing of beauty!

We are so excited to announce that we will soon be one of the only stores in the country that will be selling stamps from Steven Meer at Meer Image!

Steven's hand drawn and hand carved images are original and a real departure from anything else on the market. We'll let you know when they arrive. In the meantime, here's a sneak peek:

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like.....

Seems hard to believe, but the holiday's are upon us!

If you haven't thought about your greetings this year, stop on by any Saturday throughout November and December for a great demo to inspire you and get you crafting!

Benita spent this afternoon working her magic with Distress Inks, Embossing Powders and Copics.

Here's a great card she made so quickly, but so beautifully:
